Formerly Ruth Blankemeyer.  In addition to her congregation of IHM Sisters, she is survived by her sister-in-law Concetta (Robert), many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Anna McGarity Blankemeyer, her brothers Harry (Peggy), Paul (Lynn), William (Sally), Francis (Eileen), Robert, and her sisters Sr. Anna Cecilia SND, Sr. Paul Bernard IHM, Clare (Richard) Fackler, and Cecilia Blankemeyer.  

 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1943 from St. Laurence Parish, Highland Park and professed her vows in 1946.  Sister served in the elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Virginia.  She retired to Camilla in 2007.


The funeral Mass was celebrated at Camilla Hall, Immaculata, PA, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.  Reverend William E. Dean was the celebrant and homilist. The concelebrants were Monsignor William D. Lynn and Monsignor Joseph Logrip.

Formerly Joan Kelly.  In addition to her congregation of IHM Sisters, she is survived by her sister, Sr. Margaret John, D.C., her brother-in-law William Conway, many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Walsh Kelly, siblings John, Joseph (Edith), James (Kathleen), Thomas (Ursula), Edward (Agnes), Charles (Margie), Aloysius (Doris), Sr. Mary Kelly, IHM and Marguerite Conway.  

 

Born in Strafford, PA, Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters,  Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1951 from St. Katharine Parish, Strafford, PA, and professed her vows in 1954.  Sister served in Secondary Schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Arlington.  Sister retired to Camilla Hall in 2011.


The funeral Mass was celebrated at Camilla Hall, Immaculata, PA  on Monday, December 14, 2016.  Right Reverend Richard J. Antonucci,  O.Praem.  was the celebrant and homilist.  The concelebrants were Rev. William E. Dean and Monsignor Joseph Logrip.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1946 from St. Philomena Parish, Lansdowne, PA and professed her vows in 1949.  Sister served in various elementary schools as teacher, principal, and in development offices in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Dioceses of Metuchen, Savannah, Camden and Florida. Sister retired to Camilla Hall in 2008.


The funeral Mass was celebrated at Camilla Hall, Immaculata, PA on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Monsignor Joseph Logrip was the celebrant and homilist.  The concelebrants were Monsignor Francis W. Beach and Rev. William E. Dean.

Born in Norristown, PA, Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1947 from Holy Saviour Parish, Norristown, PA and professed her vows in 1950.  Sister was assigned to various elementary schools as teacher and principal in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Camden, NJ. Sister joined  the staff of Camilla Hall in 2004.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1954 from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Philadelphia, PA, and professed her vows in 1957.  Sister taught in various elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Dioceses of Arlington, Metuchen, and Camden. In 1989, Sister joined the staff at Camilla Hall in various areas. Her latest position was in the Spiritual Treasury Office.

Thomas McBride, M.M., Joseph, Daniel (Marie), Lawrence and her brother-in-law, William Turnbach.

 

Born in Hazleton, PA, Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1944 from St. Patrick Parish, McAdoo, PA.

Sister taught in various elementary and secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Dioceses of Allentown, Arlington, Lancaster, Harrisburg,

and in South America where she served as Regional Superior. Sister was assigned to Camilla Hall in 2012.

Sister taught in various elementary and secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Dioceses of Harrisburg and Lima, Peru. Sister was assigned to Camilla Hall in 1989.

Born in Philadelphia, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1947 from St. Francis de Sales Parish, Philadelphia, and professed her vows in 1950.  Sister Marie Cecile taught in the elementary grades in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Dioceses of Allentown and Arlington. She was assigned to Camilla Hall in 1999.

In addition to her local community from Mary Immaculate Convent, Phila, and her congregation of IHM Sisters, she is survived by her sister Kathleen Harkins, many loving nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents David J. and Jeannette Long Kinee, her sister Jeannette (Lawrence) Andreano, her brother David J. (Mary), and her brother-in-law William Harkins. 

 

Born in Philadelphia, Sister Mary Agnes entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1952 from Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and professed her vows in 1955.

Sister Mary Agnes taught in elementary schools in various grades and music in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Dioceses of Harrisburg, Allentown, Trenton and Camden.  In the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, she served as director of parish liturgy at St. John the Baptist Parish and in music ministry and liturgy at Stella Maris Parish for the past 15 years.


Her funeral Mass was celebrated by Augustinian Father Nicholas F. Martorano June 21 at Camilla Hall in Immaculata. Concelebrants were Augustinian Father James Keating, Jesuit Father Brendan Horan, and Fathers Joseph DiGregorio, James McCabe and William E. Dean. Assisting was Deacon Leonard DeMasi.

Born in Philadelphia, Sister Catherine entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1942 from Good Shepherd Parish, Philadelphia, and professed her vows in 1945.  Sister Catherine taught in elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Dioceses of Allentown, Metuchen and Harrisburg. She was assigned to Camilla Hall in 2005.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Anne Delahunt Amorosi and her brother-in-law John Marker.  

 

Born in Philadelphia, Sister Trinita Marie entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1950 from Sacred Heart Parish, Philadelphia and professed her vows in 1953.  Sister Trinita Marie taught in secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and in Santiago, Chile. She taught at Immaculata University in various positions for 34 years.


Her funeral Mass was celebrated by Redemptorist Father John Hamrogue on June 8 at Camilla Hall. Concelebrants were Father William E. Dean and Msgr. Joseph Logrip. Assisting was Deacon Thomas O’Brien.

Predeceased by her father Francis J. Crowe, Sr., and her nephew Stephen Crowe.  

 

Born in Philadelphia, Sister Jeanne Patricia entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1970 from St. Helena Parish in Centre Square.  She taught in elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Sister Jeanne Patricia received her doctor of pharmacy degree at the Philadelphia School of Pharmacy. She was a pharmacist at Camilla Hall and at Continuing Care RX in Norristown.  Sister Jeanne Patricia went on home care for her mother in 2010.


Her funeral Mass was celebrated by Father Christopher Walsh on June 6 at Camilla Hall in Immaculata. Concelebrants were Msgr. Thomas S. Murray, Father Dennis J. Carbonaro, Father Edward J. Kelly, Father Martin Woodeshick, Father Kevin Mulligan, Father William Dean and Msgr. Joseph J. Logrip.

Jerome.  In addition to her local community at Immaculate Heart Convent (St. Hubert’s High School) in Philadelphia and her congregation of IHM Sisters, she is survived by her brother Domenic (Frances), loving nieces, and her grandnephew. Predeceased by her parents Frank D. and Florence M. (Reale) Jerome. 

 

Born in Atlantic City, N.J., she entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1957 from St. Michael Parish in Atlantic City and professed her vows in 1960.  Sister Mary Jerome taught in the secondary schools in the Archdioceses of Philadelphia and Miami and the Dioceses of Arlington, Metuchen and Allentown.  Her last assignment was at St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls, Philadelphia, where she served for 16 years.

Formerly Sister Coronata Maria.  In addition to her congregation of IHM Sisters, she is survived by her siblings Charles (Darcelle), Joseph (Carol), Margaret Ferry (Eddie), Ida Durning (Frank) and Rose Marie D’Ambrosio (Peter), brother-in-law Nicholas Del Ciotto, sisters-in-law Marie Long (Amos) and Agnes Long (Richard), many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by her parents Amos and Catherine Bivenour Long, siblings Amos, George (Imelda), James (Kathleen), Martin (Rita), Richard, Catherine Del Ciotto and Mary Anne Berkley (Jay) and sister-in-law Marlene Long. 

 

Born in Philadelphia, Sister Felice entered the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1956 from St. Monica Parish and professed her vows in 1958.  She taught in elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. After 35 years of teaching, Sister Felice served in pastoral ministry in several parishes in the archdiocese. Her final assignment was at St. Gabriel Parish in Philadelphia where she was involved in parish outreach at the St. Gabriel Food Pantry. She retired to Camilla Hall in 2011.


Her funeral Mass was celebrated by Norbertine Father James Rodia on April 26 at Camilla Hall. Concelebrants were Augustinian Father Francis A. Sirolli and Father William E. Dean.
